Any social society must know where its been to comprehend where in the world its all going

Top Social Networks

Total Time online spent

Myspacelogo3_thumb        Social What, Face book who, LinkIn where, call me a Twitter again, climb Pinterest and I thought My Space died. At least that was what I read in a Goggle search about two years ago. Facebook equal 750,000,000; Twitter equals 250,000,000; LinkIn equals 110,000,000; Pinterest equals 85,550,00 and lately “My_” renamed & burnished anew from a dying Mypace = 70,500,00 registered revenue generating users: while Google social metric machine which drives people there has a healthy online social hood of 65,000,00 social media users  not including Gmail, Google Maps, Google Drive and Google “this & that” users all generating serious marketing revenue: lest we forget corporate enterprise software server infrastructure drive space Google divisions. (eBizMBA The Business Knowledgebase, 2013) It’s the 2013 equivalent of the Mothers of Invention’s Freak Out.

Bleeding information, is that good for you? Not always but it is imperative for a business. Every single divet a keyboard duffer in the social media fairway of endless long drive 5 par hole golf courses drives a data byte into a pool of quadrillion statistical algorithm created maps, your data contributes to  profiling people as accurately as Wyatt Earp implemented justice with keen instincts. Difference Wyatt Earp dealt with a migrant society of individuals less than 200. Online presence is upward of 2,000,000,000 quick draw keyboard touch pad McGraw’s. Web 2.0 created an online computing social platform that has exceeded the imagination of those first testosterone rich college students rating who was hot in which Ivy League school. Who could imagine that the world would be freaking out online with willingness to bare Narcissistic wantonness as has the world with Social Media? Facebook just built a data center in Sweden the size of twelve football fields. (Bradbury, 2013)

FACEBOOK IN A NUTSHELL

So why use Social Media, aside from limitless apps and user interactivity sharing data connectivity? Simple, Social Media web sites bleed marketing information. Generations of late have a well-documented attention span of five seconds. (reduxmedia, 2011) There’s gold in them there piles of data, like gold in them there hills in Alaska. Social media of that time started a similar demographically human stampede of informational users seeking profit using that age’s transportation tech advances. Social word of mouth information started a rush of the individual seeking dreams on locomotives and steam ships. People do not change or cease being social animal’s, technology enables them to be more interactive within their environments. (nielson, 2010) Interactivity is the key to all Internet Social Media explosions of innovations. Web 2.0 has begot Web 3.0 coupling a limitless possibility to plumb the depths of user interactivity within HTML5. (WIXBlog, 2012)

Today’s individuals, in fact entire families, corporations, NATIONS in a busy global society were/are willing to dive whole hog into social oblivion relying on information gleaned online like pre depression shoe shine vendors on Wall Street got rich chasing the tips overheard while shining bankers’ shoes in the “Roaring 20s”. (Kennedy, 2008) Personal ‘Smart Device “ mobility,  Zomby Woof personal device behavior included, online zomboids have totaled 121 billion minutes of FREAKING OUT,  bleeding data from every single pore of rational &  irrational data exuberance. (Nielson, 2012)

My Space was until recently found amongst tumbling fuzz ball filled corners of cyber closets . A cxomplete revamp has breathed life into this social engine. Including user interactivity motifs acrosss relational dabases of music and social networkingo for now has gottne My_  back in the game. MySpace exemplifies why it died and what social media must focus on to stay alive. Slick & sleek mobile apps that cater to user interactivity allowing disperate tastes of all kinds to find company filled shelter in comonality of social bearing online.  EVOLUTIONARY CREATIVITY of design finds investment in interactive user platform. Now both  personal and monetary benefits abound  from using the site to network creativity on open source platforms.

Having been an original MySpace user it was a royal pain to configure. It was a royal pain to access. Data input was far too difficult. It was a royal pain to share.  MySpace was not user-friendly at all. User interactivity wasn’t fluid. Contrast that with Facebook endless feeds, shares, hash tags, likes, user data release requests, and “login withs” are getting downright ubiquitously annoying. Social media plugins abound  even more so as the socket is easily installed with HTML5  javascript shortcuts  in coding.  Marketing apps find functionality within user interactivity vastly  increasing  the  paying advertizer’s social media market share. Twitter provides instant conversation with thousands instead of point access  B2B or direct cutomer service. Contrast that historically to the traveling door to door salespeople prior to the mail order catalogue. Cold calling, while  carring their wares in a trunk door to door with the realization they had fifteen seconds to  a make a favorable imnpression granting an entry shot at getting in the front door to pitch their wares.

Remember that there were no department stores or shopping malls. Now remember since early in the game Web marketing realized those users employ a five second attention spans of choice. Users get as quickly turned off and skedaddle out of there to the next page opportunity they heard their friends talking about. People who stumble into an unfriendly bar change that point of destination as easily as today’s users now change personal devices and web site destinations to hang out. People do not change,  technology access to information for people does. This direct quote from a paean to MySpace’s return written by Taylor Soper,” I’m really excited to keep on exploring the new Myspace. I think they might have struck gold here by merging music discovery and social media.” (Soper, 2013)
